Camden County Commissioners

The Board of County Commissioners is composed of five commissioners elected by the voters through district elections for four-year staggered terms. The Board meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. The meetings are held in the Government Services Complex located at 200 East Fourth Street, Courthouse Square - Second Floor, Room 252, Woodbine. All meetings are open to the public.

The Board of Commissioners make policies, adopt laws, set budget limits, set tax rates, etc. The Board appoints a County Administrator who serves as the Chief Administrative Officer to carry out the policies and handle day-to-day operations.

Voting Requirements

Voting requirements for Camden County: must be 18 years of age and a resident of the State of Georgia. Voters may register at the following offices:
